BWM Lead the Way In Support of Local Charity
The BWM team was busy helping out one of our region’s leading dog charities. Our team were on-hand to carry out some essential repairs at the Hope Rescue rescue centre.
The local rescue centre has been saving the lives of stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs across South Wales, including Merthyr Tydfil, Torfaen, Blaenau, Gwent, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Bridgend and Glamorgan since 2005. The centre has 51 kennels and currently helps around 800 dogs a year. Urgent repairs were required for the charity, with our quality double glazing range on-show.
On supporting the charity, Residential Director at BWM, Victoria Moreton, said: “We have always supported animal rescues, but Hope Rescue is very special to our hearts as we are all animal lovers at BWM. They do a fantastic job and transform the lives of dogs. Helping Hope Rescue brought our team immense joy.”
Entrance Door
One of the products we installed at the Pontyclun centre was one of our entrance doors. As well as welcoming visitors and new pooches to the centre in style, this charity can have full peace of mind uninvited guests are kept out. The core of the door offers a great deal of rigidity and strength, with the panes of glazing and multi-point locking removing any potential weak spots that could be exploited.
The charity has opted to incorporate glazing panes into the design. This means they can easily see visitors as they visit the centre. It will also help flood the business with light, creating the illusion of more space.

The BWM team carried out the door installation and waived some of the cost as a gift to Hope Rescue. On the donation, a spokesperson for the charity said: “It is help like this from companies that means so much to us, as every saving means more money for the dogs. We are so grateful for their support and can’t wait for the next stage of their work to be completed.”
